Who is Artemano? 
Artemano specializes in ambiance. Creative designs, workmanship, positioning; nothing is left out in its owners’ constant quest for harmony of body and soul through judicious organization of personal spaces, which is a typical representation of Artemano’s values. Right from your home, Artemano’s fully personalized counselling service takes care of everything, from your idea to the delivery of the furniture you envisioned. Everything Artemano originates from India. It is there that a restless quest for substance takes place: ancestral, exotic pieces are selected and shipped to Canada, then re-purposed in a more functional design that fits the occidental way of life where their new life begins.
Artemano also develops its own collection of furniture using Sheesham, a special kind of Indian rosewood collected on environment-friendly groves. Those pieces are given a unique character by this particular wood’s beautiful grain
History
Artemano was founded in 2002 when the first store was opened in Laval, on Le Corbusier Boulevard. The company’s innovative formula was quick to meet success, and a second store opened in Brossard’s popular Quartier Dix/30 as early as October 2006. Several trips to India later, the collections have grown in quality as well as quantity, earning the company a solid market share and a reputation for die-hard dedication to the fulfillment of its mission. Four years later, the time for growth has come again and a third location is opened, in the heart of the metropolis. Artemano now operates three branches and a warehouse and is present in Laval, Brossard and Montreal.

The owners
Shimon is naturally gifted for photography. He is constantly on the lookout for the breathtaking images that embody his vision of a perfect world. That vision, shared with his partner Eyal, is the core element of a never-ending quest for beauty that is brought to fruition in Artemano’s collections. Eyal brings a creative input based on his architectural expertise and deep appreciation of aestheticism. He also brings in his broad expertise in retail management. Their joint passion for the Indian way of life and its serene beauty are the heart of Artemano, and the source of its character.
