Since Artemano’s main passion is to mix different colors and textures, we wanted to create a new collection that would really stand out. The result : our recycled wood collection, from India.
The recycled wood has an eco-friendly aspect that we all love and appreciate, but more than that, it has character. These wooden pieces come from old buildings, bridges and railroads. They endured rain, heat, years passing by and have seen people live.
They have been molded and transformed by nature. When cement started replacing wooden structures, the Indian government wanted to auction off the old wood. This is how Artemano was able to bring in a rough, authentic side to its collections, while keeping a contemporary design.
This collection precisely represents our vision. That is, the imperfections of the wood make it beautiful. And so, we invite you to combine two worlds, the new and the antique, your home and India.
